IQPACS highlights:
  • Easy to configure - any changes can be done through the interface with administrative privileges; modifying code is not a requirement.
  • DICOM images are stored in DICOM 3 format (unaltered), in the same “shape” as they were generated by the modality.
  • IQPACS can generate CD's and DVD's with DICOM / DICOMDIR images - files, .jpeg images, .mpg slideshow movies and patient information in DICOM and HTML format.
  • Allows multiple criteria interrogation from archive at any given moment.

IQPACS Description

  • Medical Image Storage - IQ Image Server The Image Server receives and sends images. It handles short and long term archive storage. The DICOM images can be accessed by doctors in the radiology and imagistic departments at any given time if the security policy allows it, as well as by the other doctors. The jpeg pictures are attached to the electronic patient file. The server allows complex and multiple configurations, in order to meet the requirements, standards and specifications of a modern PACS system.

  • Image acquisition IQPACS queries and receives images from any kind of modalities: XA, CR, MR , CT , US , etc

  • Diagnosis through handling DICOM images IQPACS allows multiple specific operations on DICOM images, such as: zoom, flip, measurements, graphical filters, brightness and contrast, shutter, slide-show, and many more.

  • Audio Dictation, Structured Reports, Key object notes IQPACS records audio dictations, generates DICOM standard structured reports and specific “key object notes”.

  • DICOM Slide - generation and visualization of the shows IQPACS generates and plays DICOM cine-shows either generated by modality instances either received directly from modalities. The movies can be exported in any known file formats such as MPG or AVI thus ensuring their portability on any system.

  • Patients & Modality Scheduling IQPACS sends and receives electronic patient and modality scheduling requests to modalities and HIS and generates work lists that will be sent to modalities for the purpose of having an exact timetable in the radiology department.

  • DICOM / HL7 Compliant IQPACS connects to any modality i.e. digital device that generates DICOM images. IQPACS connects to any HL7 compliant HIS. It is written in accordance with the DICOM and HL7 specs.

  • HIS Interface images are added to the patient's electronic file IQPACS connects to HIS Hospital Manager or any other HL7 compliant HIS thus ensuring the sending of images in the electronic patient history file.

  • Efficient costs & resources management IQPACS tracks expenses / costs and consumption of materials efficiently, within the radiology and imagistic departments.

  • Accesses all radiology and imagistic depts. resources IQPACS connects to any type of network ready modality, processes and stores DICOM images in short and long term archives. IQPACS generates studies and series of images, based on the originals, with modifications done by doctors, preserving the initial DICOM images securely as well. Images are also attached to the electronic patient file.

  • Teleradiology Radiologist A sends images and comments to radiologist B (similar with sending an email). As soon as B opens his workstation he sees the «message» from A. Radiologist B looks at the study from A, does specific operations and applies certain filters and answers to A (very much like an email reply). B's answer contains images, documents, audio dictations, etc
